Born in 1984, in the Abruzzo region from Friulana mother and Abruzzese father.
Our Cantina (Wine cellar) is situated in Susciardo area, Guardiagrele, in Chieti province, at the bottom of the Majella mountains. In our L·AB we work on new experiments.
Our wines are inspired by the important Northern-east wines.
THE BLENDING ART
In our Cantina (wine cellar) we’ve started few experimentations to create a Classic sparkling wine. Especially we want to put together vine varieties from the Southern Italy (strong ones) with others from the Northern areas (aromatic ones). Our experience with the cuvèe inspired also our still wine, a unique type of wine.
WHEN I STARTED I HAD A PIECE OF LAND, MANY IDEAS AND A GARAGE.
I POSITIONED A VINEYARD, REORGANIZED THE GARAGE TO TRANSFORM IT INTO A WINE CELLAR.
TODAY THAT’S THE CORE BUILDING OF MY BUSINESS.
FOR ME THAT’S NOT ONLY A WINE CELLAR, THAT’S MY STARTING POINT.
THIS IS WHY I CHOSE IT AS SYMBOL.
MY FIRST EXPERIMENT, WHEN OPENING A CANTINA (WINE CELLAR) WAS ONLY A DREAM IN MY POCKET.
MEN AT WORK: FROM GARAGE TO WINE CELLAR
PECORINO COLLINE PESCARESI
Friulan mother and Abruzzese father, this wine it’s a tribute to my second homeland: Friuli Venezia-Giulia region. It’s a Friulana tradition to vinify the white grape into red grape: vinifying white grapes with a soft maceration on the skins. It gives to the wine a coppery color.
Pecorino wine IGP, with a continuous evolution, refined in bottle for a year.
A straw-yellow color with coppery shades light up the glass, while you can smell the smart floral notes that turns into fruits on the final moments, smelling thyme and sage scents. The sip is sapid, mineral and with a good sourness.
Grape type: Pecorino. Late grape-harvest. Perfecting in steel and in bottle.
The best choice as aperitif and with seafood platters.
CERASUOLO D’ABRUZZO D.O.C.
With a raspberry color, our Cerasuolo wine, is refined into steel and finally bottled, without being filtered.
The Cerasuolo wine has fruity and floreal notes, and it’s very persistent, lively and fresh.
You can perceive sents of strawberries and flowery hints linked to violet and geranium.
When you drink it, the taste is full, sapid and it has a sour flavor and mineral quality.
The grapes used are the Montepulciano grapes.
Excellent choice as appetizer and ideal with traditional fish main courses.
Talented, dedication and destiny, artisans and musicians, so different but so similar. The FANFARONE ROSSO is dedicated to Vanessa, THE VIOLINIST, that’s why this wine celebrate the wood. Wood which generates the emotional sound of the violin. Wood (Barrique) which refines this wine for a long-lasting period.
This wine has an intense rubin-red color with garnet reflexes. Complex and intense to the nose, you can smell two different scents: red fruits and spices. Balanced, tannicity and structured, long-lasting refining into bottle. Red wine made of mixed red grapes.
Excellent choice with traditional main courses, ideal with Arrosticini and all well-aged cheeses.
MONTEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO D.O.C.
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo D.O.C., our young, chilled and lively red wine. A wine with a strong red color and violet reflex. Wine with an intense and complex perfume. The red fruits highlight the spicy notes of cloves, typical of the Montepulciano wine, about ABV 13%.
Montepulciano grapes are selected, this wine is refined into steel and then bottle to preserve and enhance the fruits scents.
It brings to the nose scents of red fruits, sour cherries, with spicy notes of cloves. The taste is harmonious, chilled, clean and structured.
Suggested with traditional first courses: gnocchi, lasagne and maccheroni alla chitarra.
MONTEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO D.O.C. 2018
